The mission of the Office of Strategic Communications & 市场营销 (SC&M) is to create awareness while enhancing the image and reputation of Augustana University.

Telling the Augustana story is the goal of each image, advertisement and event. SC&M aims to project a consistent brand identity, establish and promote events that celebrate the joy of Augustana, report campus news, maintain strong relationships with the media and broader Sioux Falls community, recognize the achievements of students, professors and alumni, as well as target communication to each of our audiences using a variety of media.

Jan (Hovey) ‘75 and Dave Johnson ‘74 were close together yet worlds apart for more than two decades until the two Augustana alumni met, built their success stories and began to make an impact on their communities and alma mater. Throughout the years, the Johnsons have been faithful supporters of Augustana.

The Augustana Student Association (ASA) honored three professors with the ASA 教师 of the Year Award on Monday, 4月29日. The award is given annually for excellence in teaching and distinguished service to the students of Augustana University. Along with writing thank you notes to professors, ASA asks fellow students to nominate their favorite AU faculty member for the awards. 

Augustana University is proud to announce that six of its students have been awarded Fred C. 和J. Marie Christopherson Scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year. The recipients of the Fred C. 和J. Marie Christopherson Scholarship are recognized as students who are committed to the university, respected by their peers, have a strong work ethic and a solid character.
